On Monday,  a group of children visited the Newham council offices to view the entries (including our own) to a recycling competition that we  entered earlier in the year. 

The council had selected a few pieces to be on display for 'recycling week' for everyone to see. The Lion sculpture we created was one of the art pieces  on display!   They also had the opportunity to take part in a workshop on the importance of recycling.
