Parents/Carers may register their child for a Nursery place with the school office. We are able to offer your child 15 hours of child care free each week from the term they become 3 years old. We offer children a morning only nursery place or an afternoon only nursery place. You will be invited to attend an admission interview and meet the Nursery staff prior to being offered a place.
We also have 30 hour free childcare for 3 and 4 year old children. It’s a full day nursery provision from 8.45am-3.30pm. If you are interested please contact Megan Turpin in the Cleves office.
Below are some of the Criteria parents have to meet to be eligible. Parents of three and four year olds will need to meet the following criteria in order to be eligible for 30 hours free childcare:
They earn or expect to earn the equivalent to 16 hours at National Minimum or Living Wage over the coming three months.
- This equates to £120 a week (or c.£6,000 a year) for each parent over 25 years old or £112.80 a week (or c.£5,800 a year) for each parent between 21 and 24 years old.
- The parent (and their partner where applicable) should be seeking the free childcare to enable them to work.
- Where one parent meets the income criteria and the other is unable to work because they are disabled, have caring responsibilities or have been assessed as having limited capability to work.
- If a non-EEA national, the parent must have recourse to public funds.
